The difference between January and February Aquarius

Aquarius is the rarest sign of the zodiac, but not because February is the shortest month. What makes Aquarius so rare are the traits and characteristics they embody due to the ruling planet, Uranus. One thing to keep in mind is everyone's birthday is different. Zodiac uses the day, location, and time to assign a sign to someone. Before I talk about the difference between them, you first need to know what a decan is. A decan is a subdivision of a sign. Each decan is given rulership by the planet that rules the sign and second rulership by the planet that rules the decan.

• Second Decan- January 30th-February 8th

• Third Decan- February 9th-February 18th

January Aquarius

January Aquarians are ruled by the ruling planet, Uranus. I guess you could consider them as the "purest" form of Aquarius or the month closes to the ideology of Aquarius. January natives tend to do well in competitive situations. They are adaptive, versatile, and unique. To strangers, they may seem unapproachable or distant but once you get to know them you will quickly discover how friendly and original they are. Although Aquarius is a social sign, a January native won't have any problem seeking out alone time if needed. It's not hard for them to withdraw to their own world. They have an unconventional approach to life. They try to blend in with masses more while also maintaining a spark that helps them stand out. They are super independent and also very stubborn. Most of the time it is hard for others to guess what an Aquarian is thinking.

Even though they are "poker face" experts, they still get deeply hurt when they are criticized and will let you know (they have to come to you first, don't ask them how they feel first). They are really sensitive and hard to control. But it's guaranteed an experience like no other when dealing with a January Aquarius.

February Aquarius

February Aquarius is ruled by two planets. Uranus being the first and depending on your birthday the secondary ruler is either Mercury or Venus. If the Aquarian was born during the second decan they are ruled by Mercury. I would say of the three decans, the second one houses the talkers of the sign. They have to power to captivate others with their ability to verbally express their thoughts and emotions. That's because Mercury is the planet of communication. They're always looking for new experiences, sometimes their curiosity makes them talk too much (gossiping). Natives are also very energetic and enthusiastic just like their ruler.

Those born in the last decan are ruled by Venus, which is the planet that deals with relationships, love, and intimacy. February Aquarius love to explore the pleasures life has to offer. Some would even say they like living life in the fast lane. February Aquarians are social beings, they love meeting new people and experiencing new things with them. Because of the influence from Venus, they have a magnetic charm to them that can attract anyone to them. They tend to hide their emotions better than other Aquarius and unlike January Aquarius, they most likely will never tell you how they feel. They are sexual, attractive, mysterious, intriguing and also stubborn, unpredictable, and have horrible communication skills.

Conclusion

January Aquarians are more upfront and don't like being told what to do. February Aquarians are more complicated and unpredictable. They will just leave without a heads-up if they feel like their freedom is at stake. This just proves how unique Aquarius people are. When meeting one for the first time be prepared to have them cross your mind from time to time. I may be biased but no matter what month they were born in, Aquarius knows how to have fun and will find others to have that fun with, temporary or not. They are the most open-mindedness of the zodiac. One thing I can say is you will never forget an Aquarius.
